Senior Legal Services

Since 1972, Senior Legal Services (SLS) has provided free legal advice and representation to adults, 60 years and older, in Santa Cruz and San Benito counties. Our highest priority is to defend the rights of older adults to quality health care, to protection from abuse and exploitation, and to be free of discrimination on the basis of age or disability.

SLS serves residents age 60 and older in Santa Cruz and San Benito counties by offering legal advice, advocacy, and representation in the following areas: Elder Abuse, Discrimination, Tenant Rights, Consumer Protection/Bankruptcy, Care Facilities and Patient Rights, Benefits Appeals, Limited Estate Planning.
